For a long time now, I've been collecting and analyzing my games. All analysis is aided by a computer and I am most certainly a hopeless patzer. Some of these games are interesting, some are terrible, but all of them are mine and they live on this site so I can perhaps learn from them.
If you play through my games on the embedded boards, my commentary should be integrated in all recent games. Unless noted, all games are correspondence games.

{Termination "Black resigned" Mode "ICS" DateLastMove "2008.8.15" Board "5100833"}
1.e4 e5 2.Bc4 Nf6 3.Nc3 Nxe4 4.Nxe4
{My favorite little opening 'trap'. It works most of the time. It's only a pawn advantage, but I always take what I can get.}
4...d5 5.Bxd5 Qxd5 6.d3 Nc6 7.a3 f5 8.Nf6+ gxf6
{So, I begin the game in the lead.}
9.Nf3 Be6 10.c4 Qd7 11.O-O O-O-O 12.b4 Qxd3 13.Qxd3 Rxd3 14.c5 Rg8 15.Ne1 Rh3 16.g3 f4
{I missed a good opportunity here with Bc4, the rook is trapped and I win the exchange.}
17.Ng2 f3
{Another missed opportunity. Nd4 threatens Nf3+ and mate to follow. It would have forced him to give up some more material.}
18.Ne3 Rh4 19.Rd1 Rd4 20.Re1 Bh6 21.b5 Na5 22.Bb2 Rd2
{Bad mistake on my part. Allows him to fork the rook and knight with Bc3.}
23.Bc3 Rd7
{A better response to this situation would be 23...Bxe3 24. Rxe3 Nb3 25. Rxd2 Nxa1 and things are a bit more even.}
24.Bxa5 Rgd8 25.c6 Rd6 26.cxb7+ Kxb7 27.Bb4 R6d7 28.Nc2 Bc4 29.a4 Bd2 30.Bxd2 Rxd2 31.Rec1 Be2 32.h4 Rd1+ 33.Kh2 Rxc1 34.Rxc1 Kb6
{Apparently from here I was destined to lose a rook.}
35.Ne3 f5
{I'm starting to fall apart at this point. I had been able to keep up the small lead, but now I've hung a pawn for no apparent reason and things go downhill from here.}
36.Nxf5 Ka5 37.Ra1
{He could have just taken on c7 and started devastating my seventh rank with his rook.}
37...Rd3
{A better move would have been Rd1 and we trade, and I win the a-pawn and I'm well on my way to queening (or at least drawing).}
38.Ne7 Bd1 39.Nc6+ Kb6 40.Nxe5 Rd2
{stupid}
41.Nc4+ Kc5 42.Nxd2 Bc2 43.Ra3
{And he could have just won the bishop here with Rc1.}
43...Kb4 44.Rxf3 Kxa4 45.Rf7
{Black resigned}
1-0
