For a long time now, I've been collecting and analyzing my games. All analysis is aided by a computer and I am most certainly a hopeless patzer. Some of these games are interesting, some are terrible, but all of them are mine and they live on this site so I can perhaps learn from them.
If you play through my games on the embedded boards, my commentary should be integrated in all recent games. Unless noted, all games are correspondence games.

{Termination "Black king mated" Mode "ICS" DateLastMove "2008.8.16" Board "5139118"}
1.d4 d5 2.c4 dxc4 3.Nc3 Nc6 4.Nf3 Bg4 5.e3 f5
{A strange move at this point in the game.}
6.Bxc4 Nf6 7.O-O
{Better here was Qb3}
7...Bxf3 8.Qxf3
{The computer would prefer me to take with the pawn, but I didn't want to weaken my kingside or my pawn structure.}
8...Qd7 9.b3 O-O-O 10.Ne2 Qd6 11.Bd3
{I'm not sure why I set up to take with the bishop when I could have taken immediately with the queen.}
11...e5 12.Bxf5+ Kb8 13.Bb2 g6 14.Bd3 exd4 15.exd4 Qb4
{Bad move. He missed the hanging knight at f6.}
16.Qxf6 Be7 17.Qf3 Rhf8 18.Qe3 Rd5 19.Bc4 Rh5 20.Rac1 Bd6 21.g3 Qa5 22.Bf7
{I was trying to trick him into taking the bishop so I could mate. Not the soundest plan, but it seemed like a good idea at the time.}
22...Be7
{He slipped up here and I actually took advantage of it.}
23.d5 Re5
{And now he makes a bigger slip up. One mistake can be recovered from, but two in a row is tough.}
24.Qf3
{Oops, if he'd respond to this with Rf5, he'd be on much more even ground. He does not though.}
24...Nd8 25.Bxe5 Nxf7 26.Bf4
{The fact that I missed Qxc7+ winning the queen is unbelievable. It was as plain as day.}
26...g5 27.Be3
{And now I've lost any chance of making that move.}
27...Qxa2 28.Rc3
{Pointless to defend that pawn, since if he'd taken it, after Bxa7+ Kxa7 Qxb3 loses the queen.}
28...h6 29.Rfc1 Ne5 30.Qh5 Nf3+ 31.Kg2
{Hung my knight.}
31...Qb2 32.Qxh6 Qxe2
{We have both been playing terribly for the last 5 moves.}
33.Rxc7 Ne1+ 34.Kg1
{Out of my options all were very bad except for this one, so I'll take a bit of credit for cleverness here.}
34...Nd3
{Forced mate from here and I saw it.}
35.Qxf8+ Bxf8 36.Rc8#
{Black king mated}
1-0
