For a long time now, I've been collecting and analyzing my games. All analysis is aided by a computer and I am most certainly a hopeless patzer. Some of these games are interesting, some are terrible, but all of them are mine and they live on this site so I can perhaps learn from them.
If you play through my games on the embedded boards, my commentary should be integrated in all recent games. Unless noted, all games are correspondence games.

{Termination "Black resigned" Mode "ICS" DateLastMove "2008.11.6" Board "5351247"}
1.d4 d5 2.c4 Bf5 3.Nc3 e6 4.Nf3 Bb4
{I never considered taking the pawn cxd4. I maybe should have since it'd be trading a flank pawn for a central pawn.}
5.Bd2 Nc6 6.e3 f6
{If he'd activated his knight he'd be slightly ahead.}
7.a3 Bd6 8.b4
{When I make these giant pawn chains it's never the most sound plan. But it's the most fun, and chess should be a little bit about fun.}
8...Bxb4
{Apparently my giant pawn chain scared him and he threw a bishop into the fire.}
9.axb4 Nxb4 10.Qa4+ Nc6 11.c5 a5 12.Bb5 Ne7 13.Ne2 O-O 14.O-O Nb4 15.Bxb4 axb4 16.Qxb4
{His queenside is starting to look very weak.}
16...Be4 17.Nd2 b6
{This move let me open the queenside anymore, and made my queen and light bishop very dangerous.}
18.cxb6 cxb6 19.Nxe4
{I missed an opportunity here. 19. Rxa8 Qxa8 20. Qxe7. I distract the queen off that defensive square later, but it would have been most beneficial right now.}
19...dxe4 20.Bc4 Nc6
{I missed my chance to win the knight, and the irony is I play the move now when it doesn't do nearly as much.}
21.Rxa8 Qxa8 22.Qxb6 Rb8 23.Bxe6+ Kh8 24.Qc5 Re8
{Not good.}
25.Bd5 h5 26.Bxc6 Qxc6 27.Qxc6 g5
{And he finishes off with one more terrible move. Allowing me to just take his last remaining piece was strange. From here I have forced mate, but he doesn't make me play it out.}
28.Qxe8+
{Black resigned}
1-0
