For a long time now, I've been collecting and analyzing my games. All analysis is aided by a computer and I am most certainly a hopeless patzer. Some of these games are interesting, some are terrible, but all of them are mine and they live on this site so I can perhaps learn from them.
If you play through my games on the embedded boards, my commentary should be integrated in all recent games. Unless noted, all games are correspondence games.

{Termination "Black king mated" Mode "ICS" DateLastMove "2008.1.18"
Board "4351569"}
1.d4 e6 2.c4 Nc6 3.Nc3 d5 4.Nf3 Bb4 5.Bd2 Nf6 6.e3
{Thus far, we've both played very solid opening moves.}
6...O-O 7.Bd3 Ng4 8.O-O Bd6 9.c5 Be7 10.b4
{Hangs the pawn.}
10...Nxb4 11.Ne2
{Bad move again. I've lost focus. Better would have been 11. Bxh7+ Kxh7 12. Qb1+ Kg8 13. Qxb4. Winning back the pawn but trading a bishop for a knight.}
11...Nxd3 12.Qb3 e5
{Now it was his turn to make a bad move.}
13.h3
{I should have taken the knight straight away. He could have played Nxf2 keeping himself ahead, but thankfully he misses it.}
13...Nf6 14.dxe5 Ne4
{This was a big turn around for me. He would have done much better by taking the pawn with Nxc5, threatening my queen and protecting the knight at d3.}
15.Qxd3 Nxd2 16.Qxd2 Bxc5
{Now I'm only down a pawn, which is a vast improvement from a few positions ago. However my pawns are bad and I have no more bishops.}
17.Rfc1 Bf5
{And now I'm up again with the hanging of his bishop. I was very lucky that he started making careless moves.}
18.Rxc5 Be4 19.Rac1
{I probably should have moved the knight. If he would have taken it then the pawns on the king-side would have been really weak. Luckily he didn't.}
19...f6 20.Nc3
{I have no idea what I was thinking with this move.}
20...fxe5 21.Nxe5 d4
{Now he hangs the other bishop. Maybe that bizarre knight move I made threw him off balance.}
22.Nxe4 Qh4
{Now he's getting desperate. He's looking to mess me up with Qxf2, but it's protected quite well by the knight.}
23.Qxd4 b6
{Black enters into a forced mate, which I of course miss, but it's quite pretty here it is: 24. Qd5+ Rf7 25. Qxf7+ Kh8 26. Rxc7 Qxf2+ 27. Kxf2 Rg8 28. Qxg8+ Kxg8 29. Rx8#}
24.Rxc7 b5
{There is another forced mate here, but I get so hung up on getting a smothered mate that I miss out on several less pretty mates. But, thankfully I do get the smothered mate and it is glorious.}
25.Qd5+ Kh8 26.Nc6 Rae8 27.f3 Qh6 28.Nd6
{With this move I went from winning out right to our score being completely even. If I hadn't managed to eek out the mate it would have been a tragedy.}
28...Qxe3+ 29.Kh2 Qf4+ 30.Kh1 Qxc1+ 31.Kh2
{Here he could have forced a draw. He was greedy though.}
31...Re1 32.Nf7+ Kg8 33.Nh6+
{You've gotta love the double check.}
33...Kh8 34.Qg8+ Rxg8 35.Nf7#
{Black king mated. My favorite mate of all time.}
1-0
